Come with me to get zapped!
Today I went to Catbird in Soho, NYC to get a permanent bracelet. It was such a quick and cool experience, and the results are amazing.
I booked an appointment in advance (they do accept walk-ins), and picked out my bracelet. They had a selection of thin, 14k gold chains all ranging from $98 to $348. I decided to get the "Sweet Nothing" bracelet in yellow gold, and added a charm with my initial. You can add up to three charms, which are $48 each.
Then I got my bracelet welded into place, which they call 'zapping' so it stays on without a clasp. They fit it perfectly to my wrist and it feels super lightweight, and it only took a few minutes. Catbird does sell other jewelry like rings and necklaces, but they only zap bracelets.
I'm super happy with the final result, and would definitely recommend adding this stop to your next city trip to get matching bracelets with your friends.
