Bronze and Glow Guide

How to achieve the bronzed and glowy look just in time for summer.

The tan and glowy makeup look is one of my absolute favorite feelings, especially in the summer, which is right around the corner. If you love doing your makeup or a good get ready with me, I have the perfect products linked to get a natural, post-beach glow look, as well as some dupes for the fan favorites.

Base

Having a glowy base that makes your skin look hydrated is super important for the natural look. The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is perfect as a primer that will give you so much glow. I recently bought the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops after seeing them all over my TikTok, and I love them as a daily all-over bronzer that looks super natural. Since these were super hard to find, another drugstore dupe would be the L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Glotion which is only $10 and gives a radiant glow very similarly to the drops and flawless filter.

Contours and Highlighters

Adding more bronze and glow with contour, bronzer, and highlighter will enhance your look. I'm a big fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand and Beauty Highlighter Wand. I also love the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream because it gives such a perfect tanned look without looking too matte since it's a cream, and will create a more dewy finish. A bronzing drugstore dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury wand would be the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer which has a similar sponge applicator, and can be applied with the same 'dot' look. The Maybelline FaceStudio Master Strobing Stick will also give you a dewy look, and is only $6.

Body

I recently have discovered the hype about body glow; I love being able to add even more shine to my neck, chest and shoulders to continue the bronze and glow instead of just on my face. Both the Major Glow Balm and the Major Glow Body Oil by Patrick Ta give a gorgeous shimmer for the body. For self tan, I love the Tan-Luxe Body Drops, which are so easy to use. I add 2-3 drops to my moisturizer for my face and body lotion for my body and let it sit over night. It comes out so natural and not too dark if you don't apply too much. Self tans can be scary, but I heard great things about the Jergens Natural Glow + Firming Self Tanner, which is a tanning lotion that should be very easy to use and give a natural tan glow (and only $10).
